Speaking about the achievements and advancements that Electricity Exchange has made this year, Paddy referred to the attachment that Electricity Exchange has to Limerick. “It’s amazing to see so many of our neighbouring businesses in the region and to learn more about their successes. This year we’ve expanded and moved to a bigger office with the aim of growing again in the years to come. We’re fully committed to growing our business here as we’ve been here since the very beginning. We’re proud to be associated with the city and to expand our team based here now and in the future.”
Paddy also praised the support services for businesses trying to get off the ground in Limerick that make it such an attractive destination to set up and grow a business “Although I’m from Galway and Duncan is from Dublin, Electricity Exchange has been built on the foundations of support that Limerick has laid to nurture the growth of small businesses in the region. We are very proud to be a Limerick company.”
The winner of the overall award was Shannon Group which includes entities such as Shannon Airport, Shannon Commercial Properties, International Aviation Services Centre and Shannon Heritage which all have a tremendous impact on regional development, investment and employment.
